The alternator wiring would not instantly go to the ECU, but somewhat towards the fuse box in which it powers almost everything else in the vehicle such as the ECU. The alternator will apply 12V on E2 so there is not any a lot more ground to the battery gentle, only 12V. And so the battery gentle
